Arcana Gasless: Release Notes

Release Date: Jan 15, 2024

Gasless SDK Version: v0.0.25

Arcana offers the following SDKs:

  • Arcana Auth SDK
  • Arcana Auth-Core SDK
  • Arcana Gasless (Standalone) SDK

Arcana Gasless (Standalone) SDK is the newest addition to our offerings.

In this release, there are no new update for the Arcana Auth SDK and Arcana Auth-Core SDK.

To configure authentication providers for user onboarding and to set up gas tanks for gasless transactions, developers need to use the Arcana Developer Dashboard:

What is New?

This release of Arcana SDKs offers the brand new Arcana Gasless (Standalone) SDK. With this SDK, developers can enable gasless transactions in third-party, browser-based wallets. This is a standalone SDK and does not depend on the Arcana Auth SDK.

What has changed?

A new SDK has been added to the Arcana offerings.

There are no usage changes, or updates to the Arcana Auth SDK.

Earlier, Web3 app developers could only use the built-in gasless feature offered in the Arcana Auth SDK and enable gasless transactions through the Arcana wallet. The new standalone Arcana Gasless (Standalone) SDK now allows third-party browser-based wallets to leverage gasless transactions.

Apps that are already integrated with the Arcana Auth SDK and using the built-in gasless transactions in the Arcana wallet may choose to start using this new gasless standalone SDK for enabling gasless transactions in third-party browser-based wallets such as MetaMask.

There are no changes for apps that do not use the built-in gasless feature of the Arcana Auth SDK or do not wish to add gasless transactions to third-party wallets.
